| Well here's one of our favourite dumb chickee's Its got to the stage that everything I read about her is done with an open mouth - Quote :
(Reuters) - Prominent Republican Sarah Palin defended her fiery rhetoric on Wednesday but ignited a fresh controversy by accusing critics of "blood libel" in linking her to a deadly Arizona shooting spree.
A defiant Palin, leaping into a roaring debate on the consequences of overheated political rhetoric, said her critics had been irresponsible in rushing to blame Saturday's gun rampage on vitriolic campaign speech."Especially within hours of a tragedy unfolding, journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn," Palin, a potential 2012 White House contender, said in a video posted to her Facebook page.Palin's reference to "blood libel," a false, centuries-old allegation that Jews were killing children to use their blood in religious rituals, launched a new round of criticism of Palin's rhetoric."We wish that Palin had used another phrase, instead of one so fraught with pain in Jewish history," said Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League. The accusation of "blood libel" has been employed for centuries to justify the killing or expulsion of Jews. The phrase had been used by other conservative commentators, including a Wall Street Journal column, since the shooting of Representative Gabrielle Giffords, who is Jewish."Perhaps Palin honestly does not know what a blood libel is, or does not know of their horrific history -- that is perhaps the most charitable explanation we can arrive at," said David Harris, president of the National Jewish Democratic Council. Her elitism and bigotry is now of no surprise but is she seriously considering running for president? Even more worrying, are there actually enough maniacs out there who would vote for her? Is it a possibility she will win anything? After all.....Bush was voted in TWICE!!!

| That has made my blood run cold You all know my feelings about 'her' we can only hope there aren't enough followers to get her anywhere, however, history shows us that they can, and do get to the top of the pile and the bloody results that follow. | |

| I see Caribou Barbie is at it again- she is not the brightest in the box of public officials- but beauty doesn't have to be smart as we have seen over and over again! As for her being elected-- she has purposely almost split the main Republican party in half with her insane-ness and the tea part is in full swing- but still a minority-- basically she will only cause more problems for the Republicans- my thoughts! There are several different parties that can run for office, but the majority are the Democrats and the Republicans- very mainstream- The Republicans are often more on the same page and the Tea party has sprung from them- but much more staunch in beliefs and having a harder time finding acceptance nation wide- We will just have to see what 2012 brings Ree | |

Ree I really hope so, Ree or we're gonna find ourselves in a very bad situation. This person is insane....completely certifiable.... and the fact she was able to be elected GOVENOR of Alaska is just plain scary Yes...there are people who are barking mad all over the world who have been elected to politics but, as Matt Damon says, "She could have the nuclear codes"

| I have a couple things I wish to say. I know , you are all shaking your heads and thinking what now! 1. I was reading the OF again and was really shocked by one fan who was encouraged to tell her stories of stalking ID while they were in Sweden recording The Promise. She tells of insulting each of the guys, and I know sometimes little slips can happen and after you worry you may have said something wrong. That is the funny part, the shocking part is that she says she punched Urs on the arm after she asked him a question and thought he did not tell her the truth, and she hit Sebastien in the stomach after she asked him a question about something he wrote about in their book and again I guess he did not give her the answer she wanted or expected. To touch any star in this manner is beyond rude in my opinion. Even to ask questions when these men are on their own time seems rude to me. I was just floored by this and the response of all but one, who gently gave her a no no, but the rest on the OF seemed to think it was cute. I have rules whenever I meet anyone, especially a celebrity who is on their own time. Ask how are you, how is your family, how is your latest cd, show, etc going? I don't think it is proper to ask much more, if the celebrity chooses to expand the conversation then go with it, but remember they are not your friend! JMO 2. Again on the OF, I found a section I have never been to . It is where members can post their videos. I can only watch the You Tube ones, but I have to say they were fun to watch. I have heard this person mentioned on here as not a favorite , but the Videos that Gemmini posted were done really well. I guess she takes lots of pictures and videos because they were just of great quality. I have to say that I was lucky to go to a few Christmas concerts and the videos, though from the shows in England, the videos were outstanding. I really like her work. | |

| Which ever crazed loon was crowing about punching Urs on the arm, hitting Seb in the stomach should watch out, you shouldn't do that to ANYONE, let alone someone you don't know, let's just say, she wouldn't be bragging about it if she had tried it with me!! As for those applauding her, well, let's just say, I have seen better behaved Bikers. | |

| As for the story about the person hitting Urs and Seb Perhaps that is now why they travel with body guards??? Amazing that folks feel the need to touch, hit or punch folks they don't even know- weird indeed!! As for Gummi as we call her She does take excellent photos- she has spent the last how many yrs following around Seb all around the world and photographing him. She probably has 1000's of photos that the public has never seen. Now, do I ever admire or copy them for my own collection. NOPE! I, along with most of the other ladies here, have been on the front end of her set downs to her wrath. No thank you- If I ever see her again-- will be too soon!! She has a very very weird obsession with Seb and life is grand as long as you agree with her, but woe be unto you if you question her or make a comment that she feels is not to her liking | |

| Hello Ladies.. I see the creep Gummmini is being discussed... I guess as you don't know her Debbie you can just admire her 'work' as she calls it....and this is her full time job stalking Sebastien...notice I didn't say Il Divo..just Sebastien... she has made this man her project and for her age...she must be at least 70 years old..she has an unhealthy interest in him...it's purely sexual...believe me.. I don't look at anything that comes from this scary creepy stalker.... I find her repulsive and offensive in every way so therefore anything seen through her lil' pig like eyes is also repulsive to me..but I have a slight advantage over you and a lot of others....I've met her.... she is a horrible venomous wretch of an individual and just not right in the head in a very sinister manner..I think she is a sad, lonely, neglected, pathetic woman who ordinarily you might feel sorry for but in her case....I'd say there is a good reason for it.....I don't think she has a friend in the world...poor cow.. but I guess you reap what you sow... but don't let me influence you... | |

Maybe everything here is a matter of language...They wrote "punch" and "slap" and you thought of this But it was more like a playful, fun poke... Just my 2 cents

Urs and Seb enjoyed joking with them and have some funny jokes, which included maybe some wee and friendly punching and hitting just as young people are used to do... Oh there were some pics of that "meeting"... but I don't think I still have them... one of the girls was anita_swe or sthg like that Debbie you must understand that the girls were just playing and joking with the lads, and no-one was insulted or hurted by that! I remember they were all having big big smiles on the pics JMO- The guys are professional. I've never seen them pose for a picture with a fan where they didn't put a big smile on. I'm not saying Urs or Sebastien were upset, I just believe it is crossing boundries when you touch a celebrity like this girl did. I realize she is young, but fooling around or not, it is my opinion that it was wrong. - Quote :

Just my 2 cents I believe you that these are nice girls. I'm just against poking or hitting or punching someone who in reality, they do not know. JMO

I agree with Daria and Bridge...I think I remember this story.. This was a young girl I think and her friend....I think they went looking for them and found them just teenagers behaving like teenagers...excitable and giddy..and that's probably how these guys saw them...youngsters acting like youngsters.... makes a change from old biddies acting like youngsters I'd say... a nice change for these guys.... I do have to say tho' that when I was a teenager chasing men in their late 30s was the furthest thing from my mind ....I was busy with the real live boys....not fantasies... much more satisfying.

| I agree it's nice to meet someone you admire but I think there is quite a bit of 'celeb crush' going on too....and we can all be forgiven for having a lil' crush on our favourite one... they are all very handsome and play very well into the romantic image they are selling....buttttttt...... Letting a crush get out of hand as a lot of these stalkers do is quite another thing...concert after concert, one M&G after another....travelling from one city or country to another ...I see that as a bit of a problem these women have....they try to put it down to 'the music' when we all know and even these blokes know that's not the case....it's weird obsession....and they makes utter fools of themselves in the process... not to mention freaking these blokes out... despite the smiles and politeness... BTW...Did you know and I've only learned this....that a M&G in the UK on the last tour cost nearly £500.... I'm stunned... and some of those Forum stalkers went to quite a few....AROUND THE WORLD....so add travel/accomodation expense to that..... I'm speechless... All the stupid wealthy Divas.... | |

| True, Colleen, I nearly fell off me chair when I found out the cost of a milk & grunt, I would want waaaay more than that for that amount of money, and then some Just as well I easily satisfied with just a reasonable seat at a show. | |

| I had my one meet and greet, courtesy of a very kind ID fan and it was very nice for the 2 minutes you are with the guys. I would never pay the money for a meet and greet. I agree with you ladies, a good seat at a concert would be so much better. When I went to the dinner ahead of the Christmas show at the Beacon in NYC, I really liked all the ladies I met. I liked the fact that they were from all over the world. Holland, Mexico, Australia. They were from across the USA. It never occured to me that these women travel all over stalking these men. However I still say most were super nice. I didn't meet any of the super fans from England. I guess since they had their own shows in London they didn't bother with NYC. | |

| I didn't enjoy being lined up and all the security around to make sure no one moved, but I guess ID need to be protected. The ladies from Holland that I met had not been to the shows in London. The shows in NYC were Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. The 3 ladies I met from Holland had just arrived in NYC for Wednesday and Thursdays show from what I remember. I'm glad I did not have a bad experience with crazy fans, since this was my first ID shows. My experience was so wonderful, I actually felt like I was crazy to go to 3 shows. The first was the Christmas show in Atlantic City. My Christmas gift from my SIL. We were way up in the balcony, the female singer was horrible, but I was so happy to hear ID live. Then my son gave me his Christmas gift, 2 balcony seats for the Wednesday show in NYC. That is when I met a very generous fan from upstate NY whose husband had just died, she had the two tickets for thursday with the meet and greets, a gift from him. I met her Wednesday at the pre-dinner,and she bought a last minute ticket and was up in the balcony with my friend and I on Wednesday. We talked and she said she had not intended to give away her husbands ticket but she changed her mind, did not want to be alone and would I except it. I was so happy and was I thrilled! I have to say having a good seat near the front made a big difference in seeing the guys. I still keep in touch with my very generous new friend. I actually hope I never learn first hand of the mean girl behavior of some fans. [quote] | |

| It's really moving to heard the story of Debbie. So pleased that u can meet good friends instead of those cheezy fans. Tell the truth, I must wait until I heard entirely the new CD to consider whether it's god or not ? I'm boring with all those praises for Divos from those OF'ers . It's strange how they's so happy when they heard their only favorite Divo singing rather of the entire group. Besides, I don't see much the difference of their voices compared to the old CD. How can I see the difference when I even never heard of a full song yet ? | |

| Loki, I hope you don't mind me chimming in. Jane did stay at the Beacon Hotel. She shared a room with Sandy (Kydiva). I only remember because I am friends with Sandy and I had dinner with both of them before the show. That's when I met Jane. I remembered you said she was a friend of yours, so I introduced myself to her. I went to the shows on Wed. and Thurs. night. | |
