I really dawned on me how much of a decent and genuine person he really is, in Dublin. To see him walking along with Bridie, chatting and laughing and his reaction when Karen told him that Coll had missed the first Irish Il Divo concert as she had been ill in hospital.
I'm surprised that he didn't get whiplash, he turned his head to Coll so quickly to ask if she was OK No mean feat when she was tucked under his arm. I thought she was there for the day, bless him! He'd no problem standing for pics. I'm just sorry that Karen and I didn't ask for one!
Yep....I have to say that Seb Izambard is 100% genuine. No celeb attitude there Get that man a drink! (especially since he stuck his microphone in our faces and asked us to sing )

Dear members of this forum and also dear users of the OF, I think it's time to demand Vanessa13 to quit her job as a mod
she's not able to assume this task correctly

may I remind you she decided some days ago to delete some of my pics taken in Dublin form the David's Gallery
arguing that it's forbidden to post tour 2009 pics to keep the surprise for the others members etc.
I understood her at this moment... but today I saw a lot , really a lot of pictures taken during the actuel tour
so I just sent her a complain and I quote it here

I rarely go into the OF now but Ree told me that a pic had been posted of a certain incident in Dublin and I wanted to see it. It is there, in all its glory, for all to see......but it was posted by someone who is not associated with us or our friends therefore it will remain there.

Since you posted those they have relaxed the rule, I only know because something was mentioned in the Collages thread so I contacted Janey Mod for verification.

They are still keeping the tour thread galleries running too (bit daft if you ask me)

Repost them and see what happens.

Personally, I think Vanessa13 is waaaay to young to be a Mod on a forum that size, she has no life experience, she too young and although it's a vollenteer position, there should be some sort of training or guidance given.

Just been on OF and checked when I PMd janey mod about this, it was on Saturday 21st, that's when I got confirmation it was now OK.

However, that STILL doesn't give baby mod the right to behave like she owns the place.

I guess she better pay a visit to Sebs Gallery.....and delete all the 'show and tell' in there....posted by the globe trotters........or does she just have it in for you Bridge.......you are a member of that forum......and none of their buisness what you do or say outside of it......so long as you adhere to 'their' rules ...which you do...... is Vanessa going to spend the evening deleteing concert pics now.....or is it way past her bedtime.... NONE of these so called 'MODS' are fit for what they do....and they are resposible for to lack of intrest and participation of that forum......it is the same old crew there all the time because most have gone off to take part in other forums.....between them and their clique they have destroyed what was once a very lively fun place to visit......all it is now is a knitting club ...full of old women and their fantasies...... Let me tell you Reb.....I could have stayed there all day.... (and night... ) he turned his head so quickly he gave me a fright... and when he asked if I was OK I said no...... I had been fine up to that point.... .....OH MY...MR. IZAMBARD...... anyway we had a lil' chat with him.....he is soooo nice.....had a few pics taken.... and when it was time for him to go.....I shook his hand and wished him a very Happy Birthday.....in person.... and he gave me a lovely smile and said thank you very much......and off he went to the show......which turned out to be FANTASTIC...... DA, I flew back from Heathrow with BA, could it be that their standards are higher than some cut price airlines? The windows were quite clean but then so they were when I flew from Brum to Dublin on Ryanair and it only cost me £1 each way! I never seem to have any problems photographing through windows, in fact a properly focussed camera will ignore the glass and shoot what's beyond. This is where both skill and talent comes in, most people in this thread are talented photographers with a flair for taking good photos and often that just can't be learned.

Thanks for the compliment, yes I am pretty good with photoshop, I use it mainly to remove unwanted objects or people from my photos, or even adding people to photos - if you are really interested I can post some great examples. But on the whole I do as little as possible to my camera club photos - just resize or crop and adjust the brightness and contrast as Janey does. Certainly I couldn't and wouldn't go to the lengths of cleaning images shot through windows. If a window was that dirty I just wouldn't take photos.

It's flattering that you are interested in what I do and you already seem to know so much about me, if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask. PS no I'm not a Christian so you're quite safe from retribution!

It never ceases to amaze me that certain parties on the OF seem to think I am actually interested in them, and think I know so much about them when I am actually completely NFI.

My question was a genuine one, relating to photography, nothing more, the thread is there to ask advice, I did so.

As to my religeous beliefs, that is my affair, no one elses, I don't mock anyone elses religion, therefore I do not expect mine to be held up for ridicule, I am Pagan, if people don't like it? well tough, not my problem, however, some evidently feel threatened enough to insult me about it, just like they did in PROID with the 'Pin the tail on the Witch' comment a few weeks back, because quite frankly, it doesn't bother me in the least, it's quite funny really, just shows them for the bigots they really are, I will continue to be so and nothing will change that.
