| Morning Colleen, Thanks for quoting this: - Quote :
Thanks for the article--it is nice to read current news. It is sad they have had to see the unpleasantness about their partners--unfortunately there will always be people who say things like that and seem to feel if they spout it long enough and loudly enough that will make it true. There have been cruel things said but there have also been rumors that are completely unfounded spread by jealous people--I trust the guys know the difference. These are intelligent men--they will have chosen partners that are suitable and that make them happy--that is all we need to know.
Again, yeah, people such as you and your bestust buddy top the list, and yes, the things you both and others have said have been more than cruel and hurtful, for a start off, it's non of your damn business what they do in their private lives, that's why it's called a private life, because it's PRIVATE what part of that word are you having difficulty with? Obviously the guys know the difference (now) they know exactly what's what, and I don't blame Urs or Seb for getting both upset and mad as hell over what you (and others) have said about their partners behind their backs, whilst being all sweetness and light to their faces. And what an arrogant, pompous thing to say (These are intelligent men--they will have chosen partners that are suitable and that make them happy) just who the hell do you think you are, it's NON OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS if their mates are suitable or not in your eyes, or in anyone elses for that matter, they don't need to consult you, or any of the other lunatics in their choices, you have no bearing on their lives whatsoever (apart from giving them grief and upsetting them with your nasty, jealous, vindictive snide remarks) Get a life, leave Tania, Urs, Renee and Seb alone, better still, go find yourselves another group/singer to stalk, have sick, depraved fantasies over, because Il Divo deserve better than you lot, it must make them want to vomit when they meet you knowing how you really feel and they have to be polite and smile graciously, all I can say is, they must have very strong stomachs.

| Well Seb should do the same.....they don't need these 'twats' support...evident by the attendance and demand for their performances and the 'inactivity' on the forum....other than the afore mentioned 'clique'......their real fan base is not on that forum.......they are the peoplle who go and enjoy their shows and appreciate their talent without trying to be part of their lives and 'in' their buisness.... Renee has probably been attacked the most and in a very public manner...eg....'Dotspotter'.....and for no reason other than the guy loves her.... so Seb....stand up for your woman.... and put the nuts back in their boxes..... although he does at every oppertunity say how much he loves her ......maybe that's his way of giving them 'the finger' ......Don't you just love a man who loves his wife..... | |

- WOW I didn't realise we had so many great mile high photographers here! Fabulous pics!
DA, I flew back from Heathrow with BA, could it be that their standards are higher than some cut price airlines? The windows were quite clean but then so they were when I flew from Brum to Dublin on Ryanair and it only cost me £1 each way! I never seem to have any problems photographing through windows, in fact a properly focussed camera will ignore the glass and shoot what's beyond. This is where both skill and talent comes in, most people in this thread are talented photographers with a flair for taking good photos and often that just can't be learned.
Thanks for the compliment, yes I am pretty good with photoshop, I use it mainly to remove unwanted objects or people from my photos, or even adding people to photos - if you are really interested I can post some great examples. But on the whole I do as little as possible to my camera club photos - just resize or crop and adjust the brightness and contrast as Janey does. Certainly I couldn't and wouldn't go to the lengths of cleaning images shot through windows. If a window was that dirty I just wouldn't take photos.
It's flattering that you are interested in what I do and you already seem to know so much about me, if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask. PS no I'm not a Christian so you're quite safe from retribution! OHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........!!!!!!!!!!She's good at taking photos through windows........so are 'peeping toms'..... and she wants to show you her work in with photoshop..... removing people....adding people..... changing people into animals......what a talent...... pass on a message for me....tell her I have some veeeeery intersting pics I took in Dublin ....would she like to see them.....two can play her game.... P.S....she's not a Christen.....no kiddin'....

PS no I'm not a Christian so you're quite safe from retribution! It never ceases to amaze me that certain parties on the OF seem to think I am actually interested in them, and think I know so much about them when I am actually completely NFI. My question was a genuine one, relating to photography, nothing more, the thread is there to ask advice, I did so. As to my religeous beliefs, that is my affair, no one elses, I don't mock anyone elses religion, therefore I do not expect mine to be held up for ridicule, I am Pagan, if people don't like it? well tough, not my problem, however, some evidently feel threatened enough to insult me about it, just like they did in PROID with the 'Pin the tail on the Witch' comment a few weeks back, because quite frankly, it doesn't bother me in the least, it's quite funny really, just shows them for the bigots they really are, I will continue to be so and nothing will change that.

quote] C'mere Loki..... is she hurting your lil' feelings..... seems she has a bit of a problem learning things herself.....so therefore we just have to keep trying to teach her...... as tiresome as it's getting ..... you know there are people in the world who while kinda ' academic smart' are 'common sense' as thick as a plank ...... I guess that's also something that can't be learned... I think your pics are great...... keep practicing and next time you see Il Divo.....well you just might find yourself up there with the talented Forum Stalkers ....ooopppppssss...... I meant 'Photographers'

| I have an idea Rebel..... Why don't you and I take a lil' trip down memory lane tonight... and dicuss an incident that happened about a year ago..... when we belonged to an 'Offical Forum'....as opposed to a 'non forum'... owned by Sony BMG....ran by Warwick Worldwide and administrated by Kathrine Ross and a 'clique'....lets talk about 'character assasination'....'lies'....'racism'.....'hounding'.....'abuse'....threatening P.M.s...personal photos being tamperd with and sent around via PM....etc......some people have a short memory.....will we remind certain people about their derogitray comments on certain members of Il Divo..... Unlike some... we won't defend Il Divo to our dying breath .....they are big boys now and I'm sure can defend themselves......we will however defend Ourselves.... but not now.... I'm off out with my daughter.... in the car.... see ya later..... | |

| The point is, he doesn't expect, or want yew to spend any money on him, I shouldn't think, he got enough of his own to do that himself or Renee can have that pleasure (which I am sure she does)
I would imagine he is just pleased if yew buy the CDs, DVDs the odd bit of memorabilia that's on offer, as he always seems delighted to meet yew and the others on those rare occassions that yew do.

Well, I got it HALF right just proves how tired I was after a hectic day living in the REAL world, please accept my appologies for my error As to the Il Divo goodies, I did purchase a mug and langyard at my first concert (summer nights) then a T. shirt at the last tour because I liked it, pure and simple. The mug has NEVER been used and I wore the T. shirt once. This tour I haven't purchased anything as quite frankly, it's a load of old yanger (in fact, it's dire) Right, gotta date up the cemetary, my Dad and Brother need new plants, flowers etc as we can't have them anything other than the 'best dressed' up there Terry has already left on the Harley, so I got the car, lucky meeeee I will be back later, be good.

| A little light and 'simple' reading for a Sunday afternoon...if you really are bored... I found this on 'another forum'.... I think the theme of this story is the sadness Il Divo feel at the distance they are now 'Forced' to keep from their 'loyal fans'.......so sad the song...... must be awful for Il Divo to be under lock and key like that..... and as hard as they may try are not allowed to see their 'beautiful loyal Divas'.... Long gone are the days when they thought that the likes of these were all they could muster up as fans how disappointing that must have been for them ..... and in a recent interview the interviewer remarked to our lovely Seb that at one time their fans-base was just panting middle aged women.........he then quoted seb saying 'yes'.... but 'happily' that's changed however read this sad,sad tale 'tailored to the mind it's coming from'..... Read it and weep..... P.S.....I hope I can't be arrested for 'stealing' something put out in the public domain on a public forum and having an opinion on it.... and I also hope the 'authors' attention is not drawn to this '....'cos you know she never comes in here.... whats the jail term these days for having an opinion... P.P.S.....I asume that 'Mr. B' is Bailey...lovely guy...does his job ....he actually took our photos with David...he took 1 then said don't move girls and took another one just to be sure.... he said we were gorgeous... and we told him he was gorgeous too... Post #447 Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 8,388,607 Joined: 4-March 05 From: The home of the best football team in the world - Manchester! Member No.: 1,250 Nice piece, Lois. I don't remember reading of Teran before but it didn't spoil the storyline for me. I loved the mystical quality you injected into it and it made me want to read more - please point me in the right direction so that i can, hun! Cheryl - thanks for the criticism - it's exactly what i needed. I always struggle with dialogue so this was a painful exercise for me and I knew it wasn't reading well. I have decided to re-work the piece with regard to your comments and I think it works much better - let me know what you think! Here is the revised version of my earlier piece: “Everything changes after time. For a moment, and it does seem like just a moment, everything was exciting and new and small in an international sort of way. Now it seems....corporate....less personal somehow.” Urs delivered his calm, modulated words but, as he stood before the garishly lit mirror to adjust his collar ‘til he achieved the perfection he required, his eyes betrayed his real feelings about the changes. David observed the image of his band mate and caught the sadness reflected there. “Yes, I know what you mean, Urs, I really do ... and, like you, I can’t help regretting it. It used to be terrific to feel we could stop to chat with the fans, in the hotels and airports or outside the stage door. But now, with these new security measures, they will be lucky if they get near enough to see one of your ‘blinky winks’. And when will I be able to sit in a bar again and tell the fans exactly how difficult it is to sing ‘Solo Otrez Vez’ while staying in dramatic character? That was such fun ... I don’t want it to end” Seb, always intuitive, always sensitive crossed the room to pat David’s broad shoulder in consolation. “Oui, I agree with you David, although I am not sure that my dear wife would – after that fan jumped Urs, in South America, she didn’t want me to go on stage again! The security will distance us from the fans and that will be a shame but it is the changes on the forum that most alarm me. So many of my sirens write to me saying how upset they are with the two tier membership and I think it is showing on the forum too. It used to be fun to read the comments but now it is often just quiet.” Carlos had been sitting and observing and was unhappy about the worried tones he heard so close to show time. He saw his chance to lift the mood. “So, you still read the forum, Seb? It has been an age since I visited the Casita. I used to love eavesdropping in there. Do you know they used to call my little curl Fernando?” “Ja, we all know that Carlos ... I think you have told us once or twice before. Hey why don’t you put the name into your cheesy comments; your cuties would get such a kick out of it?” Urs’ accompanying giggle invaded the room. It was infectious and David immediately picked up on it. “Dear Lord, Urs, stop encouraging him, he’s bad enough as it is. It will be him that’s grabbed next, not you or Seb.” “Yes, I suppose it is his turn ... or yours, Miller – you seem to be leaving yourself out there. If you had read the posts in the Dorm lately you might not be so complacent! Seb and I have had our turn – and it wasn’t so bad. The fans love us – which brings us back to where we started ... security.” Green eyes sparkled as Seb savoured the change of pace in the conversation and he leant forward, eager to reinforce the point he was about to make. “But did you see, guys, where the ladies were praising our new guy; he is developing quite a following of his own. When he shadows me up to the steps in Amazing Grace, he gets almost as much attention as I do. We may be the first band whose security needs security!” Laughter boomed from three of the four occupants of the small ante room. Only Carlos needed more time to consider the implications of Seb’s comment. “Ah, so they are saying our guy is not so heavy with the hand – good, good!” “That’s right, Carlos he isn’t heavy ... handed!” David, being the native speaker, was always the one who corrected the complex idiom of the English language for the others. Then he continued the theme. “Hopefully we are worrying about nothing here. The ladies are adapting; they are very well organised. There are more and more items coming to us at the meet and greets as well as being handed to ‘Mr B’.” A slight frown stilled Carlos’s normally over exuberant eyebrows. “Mr B ... who is that?” David smiled before resorting to the jokey mode that came so naturally to him. “Our security guy, Carlos, you remember him- big man ... lots of muscles! The ladies seem to like to call him that.” “Hell yes, he really does have muscles; makes me feel insecure. I think I will have to go to the gym more if I want to match him.” Urs straightened his frame and again checked his reflection while visual images of Urs almost working himself to death in an effort to emulate their hunky security leader flashed through the minds of the others. But smiles were quickly covered to avoid conflict. Again it was David who came up with the necessary quip. “Forget that, Urs, just have the full body transplant – it’s quicker and much less pain is involved.” “That’s our ‘stretch’ for you -I love the way they call you that in some of the stories,- you always have to find the quick fix.” Seb had seen his chance – he always loved to be able to join in the joke. “And you just want to tell the world about your domestic bliss ... not that I’m jealous or anything ... but jeez those twins are cute.” Urs looked round sharply, noting a slightly wistful tone in David’s voice. “Oh, oh ... Miller’s getting broody – watch out; that’s how I started. I bet that lady of yours is getting nervous, even if she is on the other side of the Atlantic. Ackshully, if we continue growing our families the way we have recently we will have to employ a nanny as well as wardrobe ladies.” It seemed that everyone was contemplating the import of Urs’ words and the room grew silent. It was a slightly introspective Carlos that finally felt the need to interject. “Not for me, though, Urs; I think I will have to wait a while before I join your little club ... but who knows what is on the horizon?” Urs smiled, anxious to let his friend know that he understood his comment and shared his hope for the future. “Yes, Carlos, who knows? *** The knocking on the door was quickly followed by a smiling face making ready to alert them. “Five minutes to overture, guys, are you all ready to face the lovely ladies once more?” Carlos beamed his trademark ‘knock em dead’ smile as though practising for his entrance. “Si, Mr B - do you know the ladies call you that? We are ready for our fans ... let’s go guys.... -------------------- Love and hugs Moe xx | |

| Don't know why, but after read a couple of lines... well, I can't find the emo, but as we say here, "I have had to call Hugh via white phone." I do remember a girl from Australia that hold Seb's leg... and of course, a story about a shoe... and lots more, but... why to mention it? All of those stories happened before S.Am tour, so those doesn't count.
Oh, and it is true that we don't know the lads at all... but I'm sure that Urs is not the "serious and nostalgic", David "the funny and comprehensive", Seb "the dreamer with deep thoughts" and Carlos "the latin lover without brains" all day long...

Let's face it, we don't know them at all, we see exactly what they WANT us to see, nothing more, nothing less, anyway, not that it matters one way or the other, as I am fed up of saying, what they do once they are off that stage is nobodies business except theirs, private life is exactly that PRIVATE as in mind your own, what we do is not your concern.

Nope, Penguin........What she ACTUALLY said was that Carlos was going to be the cause of Il Divo's downfall......that he would drag them all down because that he was a womaniser She also said that Seb "wasn't there..." She was implying that Seb wasn't very smart To top it all off, she claimed to be on tour with Il Divo and that she had "spent time with David" Her behaviour totally threw me....I was bewildered by it and little did I know that she was typical of many of the OF stalkers Talk about a baptism of fire

I couldn't care less about the guy's private lives. It is none of my buisiness. I have far more important things going on in my life than to worry what the members of Il Divo do in their time off and who they spend that time with. I'm still sorry that I didn't save the pm she sent me when the pics of Seb and Renee went up on the OF. She entitled the pm "Seb is a scumbag" Apparently she was disgusted at his "flaunting of his relationship" and his behaviour in public with his girlfriend. What a bare-faced hypocrite The pm was so foul and full of hateful ranting that I deleted it So she's friendly with Moeby D now? Ah well.......like goes to like
